Dr. Griffin West joined Hattiesburg Oral Surgery in July 2017. A Laurel native, Dr. West earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mississippi College before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2013.
Dr. West completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in 2017. His extensive surgical training and commitment to patient-centered care allow him to provide patients with the expertise, education, and personalized attention they deserve throughout every stage of treatment.
Dr. West also has a passion for serving others through medical and dental mission work. He has participated in numerous mission trips, including trips to Honduras and South Africa, using his skills and experience to provide care to communities in need. These opportunities to serve others are an important part of both his personal and professional life.
Outside of the office, Dr. West and his wife, Lindy, enjoy spending time with their 3 children, family, and friends. They especially enjoy fishing, boating, and family game nights. Dr. West and his family are active members of Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
